E-mail and Web Access Resources for Your Boat
It is now possible to access the internet and get your e-mail anywhere in the world. With internet access you can call up weather maps, get hurricane warnings, or contact your buddies back on shore. All you need is a laptop computer, cellular phone, and a cell phone modem if you are cruising near a US or European coast. If you are cruising a little further off shore you'll need satellite communications or a radio modem. These links should help get you started in your offshore connection.
