The trip from Portugal to Cadiz was frought with a Tempest, punching 100 kmh winds, horizontal rain and lightning. The cruise to the Canaries took 5 days 8 hours.

A Trip to Spitzbergen

Two brothers and a friend sailed Aquarius, a Grainger-designed 33’ trimaran, 1,700-miles from Amsterdam to the top of Europe. At 68°N in July, it was possible to take pictures at night without a flash, because it never got dark. The tri is described in detail at the end of the article by owner Hugo van Wierigen.
