Malcolm Tennant’s newest design is a serious cruising boat. At 38' LOA, this boat has ample room with a typical English style interior layout.

Trikala 19
This new trailerable trimaran from Kurt Hughes is constructed of foam/glass and vinylester resin. Its big amas, fully extend to 13'4", giving a righting motion of up to 50% greater than beach cats of the same size. This boat was designed to accommodate two people, but can easily fit four.

Scooter: a pocket tri
This is the pedal-steered 15-foot trimaran that George Hume designed. It has a BOA of 11'6" and a displacement of 1,600 lbs.

The Trampofoil
This is possibly the strangest thing you have ever seen on the water, and it actually works. Its bicycle-like frame is made of carbon fiber and only weighs about 16 lbs. The craft is propelled by a jumping motion which is tricky to master.

Druan Wins Again

Debbie Druan and the Toshiba crew pull off another win, this time in the Cablevision Around Long Island Regatta. She also took part in the Martha’s Vinyard – Black Dog Dash and the Toshiba Unlimited Regatta.

Multihulls in the Florida Mug Race

With few restrictions, 150 vessels, 51 of them multihulls, set off with winds blowing at 20-25 knots. 44 multis completed the race, with a Supercat 2 taking top honors.

The Sailor’s Party – Travemünde Week Remains a Top-notch Race Event

Over 3,000 sailors gathered for this race in Lübeck Bay on the Baltic Sea. There were 28 classes of boats racing at the same time, on eight different courses. In 1994, the Lübeck YC set up a 500-berth catamaran & dinghy center. A double victory for Gepard, by Gabriel von Euler, Lindigö Runt is the largest race in the Stockhlom area, with about 350 entries.

Explorer wins Transpac 1997
Get the words right from the "horses’ mouths," by reading excerpts from the ongoing updates from the Internet’s – Adventure Learning Network, set up by Cam Lewis and Skip Novak. Explorer had a star-studded crew consisting of Cam Lewis, Skip Novak, Bruno Peyron, Florence Arthaud, François Coutant, Ludovic Debohan and Pascal Blouin.
